At our church, we do a gardening program called Share the Harvest, for our own families but also for local food and hunger programs - they get so little good fresh produce, this is one way we can help. Today, we got our first harvest for 2012, when we picked radishes, kale, swiss chard, zucchini, cucumbers, banana peppers, green peppers, sugar peas and green beans. Here's a link with more info about our Share the Harvest gardens http://www.mtzoaklawn.com/SharetheHarvest.html

Perhaps you can suggest your church start growing hops?
