Default Trappist Ale, Darker at Top

Im a relatively inexperienced brewer and this is my first shot with a Trappist ale. I'm using White Labs Trappist yeast. I moved the beer to the secondary fermenter yesterday morning and noticed by the night it had become darker at about the top quarter of the glass carboy. Is this a problem? If so, what should I do?

no problem! just yeast and sediment that might of racked over from primary falling out.. where it's dark is where it's clearing up

It's perfectly fine. It's as edmanster said, just yeast settling out. Light reflects off of the yeast which can make the bottom look lighter in color. Good luck with the beer.

Yep, probably just sediment having to fall back out of solution.

Seriously, though, no worries at all.

Check this Belgian blonde I did:

Turned out delicious, by the way.
Check out the priming sugar calculator, yeast starter calculator, and the beer calorie calculator.
