At least your grass is green. My whole yard is dead.

Dig it up. Its cooked. Literally. toss down a bit of garden soil, and reseed, mulch and water. Dont skimp on the seed. Get the stupidly expensive perennial stuff with no fillers and highest quality grass for your region. Then water daily once germination starts. you will be brown spot free in a month and the grass will be good to go for whatever your climate deals you.

+ 1 to this.

Heat and no rain has my yard parched. The good news is that I do not have to mow it.

I have weeds and moss. Chocolate mint in the back yard is doing well though.

No grass here at my Hawaiian desert. Waiste of water. Rather use water to make beer.

As someone who is allergic to grass (well, many different grasses), I say keep at it!

My grass is a nice shade of beige. I agree with the post no grass = no mowing.

Ahhh....it's just the mark of a homebrewer. Where I clean my pots on the side of the driveway is dead too.....

I made a large dead patch when I dumped an infected 30 gallon batch. Lucky for me I had a bunch of dandelions that were in seed form so I planted them in the dead spot. I now have a wonderful dandelion patch!
