... just found a stray chest hair stuck to the inside of the lid on my fermenter full of Orfy's Mild Mannered Ale.

I don't know for sure, of course, but judging by my generous crop of chest hair and my usual half-buttoned-up shirts I made an educated guess. There is a slight possibility of another source, but I choose to believe this version.
