Default Nearly as big as porn

I was listening to my local NPR station and they ran a story on American craft beer. Turns out its big in Sweden. It also turns out that beer brewing is the second biggest online hoby, second only to pornography. I would just like to say congratulations to everyone for spending their time on the internet....productively (well....I guess that's up to the individual to decide).

It wouldn't surprise me if one beer costs $20 in Sweden.

Somehow I doubt the validity of that article. I don't think we compare to things like

online gaming -- hobby
genealogy research -- hobby
managing your facebook BS -- for some a hobby others a full time job.

I have to say, rule 34 is severely lacking in the craft beer porn dept.

I think you just stumbled upon a business venture here. Get a few craft breweries on hoard and you have a successful "advertising" campaign

I can't say I'd count Porn as a hobby. Certainly a pastime...

Yeah, iirc even local stuff is well above $10 for less than a pint. You can't compare costs though; the whole economy and tax system (and therefore 'spending money') is quite different from ours.

A new Camaro is $140,000 in Sweden. Their income is higher than Americans', but very few can afford a Camaro.

The do get "free" college and healthcare though.
