Going out to the homebrew shop to toss together another batch. Still haven't figured out what I want to make. Narrowed it down. You decide.

Boo, pale ale is winning. I say man up and brew a lager at 50º during a heat wave! Helles bock...

Can you tell me more about this recipe? Where do you get ginger beet plant? If I use this, is it going to get bugs all over my equipment like if I was using Brett?

What does this taste like? Is it "spicy?" Any tasting notes? Thanks!

Summer will be nearing end before you can enjoy the lager, session pale ale.

The ginger was nice and smooth up front, then got spicy and warming the more you drink. I absolutely loved this one. I couldn't get any real GBP in time for this brew, so I used S-04 instead. Came out wonderfully. Also extremely easy to make. Peeling and dicing the ginger was the most difficult and time consuming part!
