I'm trying to make an ale with some leftover ingredients that I have. If anyone is familiar with Amish Four Grain Ale in Pennsylvania I would like to do something close to that beer. Anyhow, this is what I have so far for a recipe:

6.5 lbs. Marris Otter
2.0 lbs. Flaked Rye
1.35 lbs. White Wheat
.5 lbs. Crystal 40
1 lbs. Oats

HOPS: Willamette, Fuggles, Saaz and also dry hop with Saaz.
Not quite sure on the yeast yet.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm not opposed to buying more ingredients to make a good beer I just want to use up as much as I already have on hand.

I'm not familiar with Amish Four Grain Ale but anyway if you don't have any idea how to brew it instead of just trying ( and it is good too, that's the homebrewing spirit) you could make a oatmeal stout addig some black malt in your grain bill...

I've had the 4-Grain. Not a bad beer to shoot for!

I'd make sure there was a pretty obvious hops character to this. The rye and oats are going to add body and mouthfeel; you're going to need some IBUs to cut that.
