My OG was 1.060 before pitching my yeast and its been in the car boy for a week now and I took a SG reading and it was 1.008. My question is am I ready to kill off the yeast and back sweeten for some flavor, and rack to a secondary car boy? My cider is very cloudy also so I was hoping that racking to a secondary would clear it up a little. Any thoughts or help would be helpful. Sorry if this sounds like a rookie question as this is my first year trying this out. Lots of great information on this site and have learned a lot already.
