Default Crushed grape Apple Cider????

i got about ten lbs of grapes from the grocery store that are left over from a job.
some are red some are green all are seedless.
can i just blender the heck outta them in the vitamix strain and add to some apple cider to make a grapey hard cider.
will it work? will it taste like crap??? anyone have experience with this?

It'll work. Hell anything will work lol. Try.it and see. If its left over fruit I.would highly suggest pressing the grapes to extract juice rather than blending. You'll have a ton of muck left over. Add some pectic enzyme to help break down the cell walls.

Personally I would ferment them separately and then blend the result to see if you like the taste. If you don't thenyou have both apple cider and grape wine.

One of these http://www.drugstore.com/tide-high-p...-bag/qxp185123 are handy for fermenting fruit. When you are ready to remove, just lift out and squeeze. I got mine at walmart

If you don't have a fruit press, freezing the fruit will break down the cell walls and help with juice extraction.

Normal recommendation is 12-16 lb grape / gallon of wine.

I have 8 carboys, 8 cornies, 5-1 gal jugs, 200 wine bottles, 10 cases of beer bottles and a nice assortment of flip tops....My goal is to keep them at least 50% occupied
