Love to play this rhyming riddling game
Thank you LRB for not letting the thread go lame
I apologize if this next one has been played before
I just recently came back in through the side door

They are seen with clothes and with some faces
Telephones use them in many places.
When there is cutting, people can get mad
If you should cross one, fighting could be had.
Just get out of one, it could mean trouble
When seen on the road they could be double.
Football will use them, they're part of the game
Fish should avoid them, they won't be the same.

I could see the answer found within lab rats rhyme.

I thought about the answer for quite some time

That's the only clue I'm going to pass on

It's very rigid, not unlike a box
Where it does reside there's no need for clocks.
When it is in use it does not show it
Those who need it never will know it.
