In our area, we have the Down East Alers, Alcohol Through Fermentation, and the Wort City Brewers. I'm the president of the last one, and the others I think are connected to Beer Army. There's definitely a decent sized homebrewing scene for such small cities.

Yeah I am going to a beer alchemist of coastal carolina meeting in july to check it out.

I am located in Morehead City, just getting into homebrewing, and would love to find some others interested as well. Where do you guys find the clubs/meets/etc.?

Glad I found HBT, great place and resource so far!

we get together the first sunday (usually) of each Month at the Fermentation Station in Jacksonville. Stop in for more info either at:

If New Bern is closer for you the New Bern club Alchohol Through Fermentation (ATF) is up there as well. Their page is also hosted at that first link.
