In the last 5 months I've really started getting fit and lowering what was a high blood pressure reading, and as a result, I've drank a LOT less beer in order to meet my lessened caloric demand. Obviously there will be more room for beer in a maintenance phase but I'm just wondering who else on this forum is getting fit?

This guy. I had a round of illness, drugs, and finally corrective surgery on my sinuses that trashed my workout schedule for about nine months. I'm just now getting started on rebuilding a base. Also back to no more than one beer on weeknights, at least until I don't feel quite so flabby.

Plus, I've been making low ABV beers lately to change things up

Wait. You're not talking about beer, right?
You're talking about beer. That could have been a whole lot more fun.

I only drink beer on the weekends, and even then only one at a time (more of a wine drinker).

Enjoying beer doesn't mean you have to drink a case every night.

I run and do sprint triathlons so I just burn off whatever I drink.

I am losing my extra pounds through marathon training. It's amazing how much you can eat and drink when you run 13 miles and burn almost 2000 calories doing it.

I'm a bit heavy right now. 6' and around 230lbs. A few short years ago I was right around 190-200. I was also riding a bicycle a considerable distance at least twice a week.
