Default Wlp099

For some dumb reason I have a couple extra vials of WLP099. I will be making a Barleywine and using 2 vials, but have 2 others. What are the pros and cons of using one vial for a Pliny the Elder clone?

Thanks for helping.

Sheldon

Just do a starter. Gives you healthy active yeast so they don't get stressed Then there are no downsides: Pliny is strong enough that the ester problems associated with 099 at low gravities shouldn't arise.

Wait. You're not talking about beer, right?
You're talking about beer. That could have been a whole lot more fun.
