Default Wort Pumps

I guess the standard of pumps for the home brewer is the March. My LHBS doesn't have them... but they do have a pump made by Dayton (WW Grainger). Has anyone here used one? Be neat to know if someone has done either a side by side or a longevity test.

Unfortunately, I don't remember what the Dayton number is. All I know is it's white. Guess it boils down to black or white..

Is it a magnetically coupled pump? Is it food safe at boiling temps?

Grainger lists over 1700 Dayton pumps. Without a model number this thread is going nowhere...

Cheers!

True. Thought other LHBS' might use the pump. I won't be able to find out until Tuesday.
I did write CS at Grainger.. they may have an answer sooner.
