Tasting Notes
Strong earthy flavor and slight caramel backbone. Strong Peat flavor initially.
Scotch Special Bitter (not quite in style guidelines for either an esb or scottish 70)

Ingredients for 5 gallons all grain

5 lbs Simpsons Golden Promise (Scottish Marris Otter)
1lb 4oz 2 Row
12oz Crystal 60
6oz Peat Smoked Malt

.25oz CTZ(10 AAU) @ FWH
.25oz CTZ(10 AAU) @ 30
.5oz EKG(6.1 AAU) @15
.5oz EKG(6.1 AAU) @5
1oz EKG(6.1 AAU) DryHop for 1 week

1 Pack Nottingham Ale Yeast

Single infusion mash at 154* for 60 min. Next time I plan to decoction mash this though.

Fermented at 65* until I felt like drinking it.
