Default Mash paddle with glue

Just bought a wood mixing paddle from a food supply store. While I was in the process of drilling a few holes, I noticed that it's glued together. Before I go any further, should I be worried about the glue having a negative affect on the mash? (I know it's easier just get one piece of wood from a hardware store and carve it to my liking, but I don't have the tools for that--just a cheap drill).

Thanks.

It is likely waterproof and heat proof glue if for stirring soup. If it was for mixing dough, then you may have a problem

If for any reason you decide not to use it, please send it to me My thinking is that it is very likely food grade and safe to use.

Like others said, it's made for food, particularly hot food so I don't think you will have any problems.
