I just brewed my second beer which was Northern Brewer's Nut Brown ale. Brewed yesterday and fermentation is on it's way. I read somewhere that someone primed with molasses. It sounds like it'd go well with this brew maybe add some flavor and mouth feel. Anyone have any experience priming with molasses?
Primary: Belgian Wit
Secondary: Nada
Bottled: Arrogant Butthole, Arrogant Butthole on Oak and Chinook, Rebel Red (West Coast Red)
Next: Barley Wine

Molasses can easily dominate the flavor of a beer and not in a good way. I wouldn't try using it exclusively for priming. Maybe 20% of the total.

You can try using something less dominating like maple syrup.
Primary: In search of something different.
Secondary: Kolsch, Red IPA
Kegged: Hard Blackberry Lemonade, Bitter
Notable Empties: Pecan Porter, NorthWestern Pale Ale, Double IPA, Red IPA, Amber
