Default Mold in my beer?

So I have had my brew in the secondary for a month now and I haven't looked at it for about two weeks. It was my first secondary attempt and i put a 5 gallon batch in a 6.5 gallon carboy. I hear there us probably a chance it will be oxidized. Is that true? I just looked at it and it looks like there is mold on the top. Is that normal?It would make sense being wet and room temp but I'm just not sure if it is a bad thing.

Post a picture and everyone will tell you whether or not you're infected.

don't fret racking into a secondary. the dissolved co2 in the beer as you rack gets released and creates that "warm and fuzzy co2 blanket" to help prevent oxidization. as Hitokiri said, posta pic and i'm sure someone can say yay or nay to your question.

i think it is normal. I just a beer in a secondary and there was green stuff floating in it. there was nothing green when i put it in the secondary though.

Looks like co2 and yeast but hard to really see the white spots. But I would think it looks normal to me. I have had similar things like that in my secondaries and they have all turned out fine.

dude...i don't know if that's a mold, but you DEFINITELY have a fungus growing in there. i've seen this before in my beer, and after further research, i've discovered it was the Saccharomyces fungus.

not much you can do about it now. i would let it sit for a couple more weeks and the bottle/keg.

i'm sorry to hear that your first secondary brewing attempts was infected with Saccharomyces. best of luck to you in the future.

Dude...that means my beer is infected too.. yeah dude, that's normal for secondary racking. it's the yeast getting roused up again for "dessert" as i like to call it. totally normal =D

Looks fine just floaters. If you are worried bottle now and rack from under it.

its infected with fungus for sure... you can just bottle it up and send it to mii for disposal...
