I've been surprised at how well ABA ages. Most hop-heavy beers fade in a year.

I had a bottle of the double bastard that I didn't like at all. So i bought another bottle and set it away for a year, it was awesome after a year.

We opened a 3L bottle of 2009 Double Bastard at our company party last summer. It was incredible. Oddly enough, the 3L bottle of 2008 Hennepin was better.

Slight necro, but I just found a bottle of this that I was given 4-5 years ago. It's never sat in the light, but it has sat in 120+ degree temps. How is that going to affect the flavor?

Will be cracking it open Sunday with friends.

In case anyone was wondering... It went bad. It was one of the nastiest things I've ever had.
