Default scuba tank modification?

I want to move into kegging but living in Jamaica, getting the CO2 tank seems to be the problem (I can get a 50lb tank easily but that seems a little excesive!!).

However I have a couple of scuba diving tanks (and a small 0.7litre backup tank) and wondered whether there was a way to convert them. Suggestions?

Have you checked out the CO2 supplier on the island? Either they will have a smaller tank (5 or 10#) available, or could help you fit the valve and regulator onto a SCUBA tank. I like the SCUBA tank idea. You won't run out of CO2 very quickly with that size tank!
