Tasting Notes
Very clean, simple beer. Comparible to Paulaner, Ayinger. Great stuff!
This beer got it's name from Hurricane Irene as I was able to finally drink the first one during the storm.

Grains:

10 Lbs Pale Wheat Malt
7 Lbs Belgian Pils
2 Lbs Carafoam
1 LB Rice Hulls

Hops:

Tettnanager (4.5%) - 2 oz - 30 mins

Single infusion mash at 152 °F, 60 min.
Mash out at 165 °F, 10 min.
Batch sparged.

Bottled and drank first one after about 16 days

Sorry fellas. Not sure why I never got notified of the replies. Anyway, I've brewed this again, adding 1lb flaked wheat. 10gal bat ch. this beer is so good. It can run with the big boys and it's so simple. If you like Bavarian heffe's give it a shot

If anyone's interested.. here's the new recipe.
