A friend of mine had co2 tank that he had no use for and gave it to me. I know that it it is either a 10lb or 20 lb but i was wondering is there marking somewhere or something that could tell me which it was.

Yeah, that would help... My 20 pounder is about 8 inch diameter by about 24 tall not counting the valve.

Yeah, a 20# tank is pretty close in size to a corny keg.

27.5 inches to top including handle and 8 inch diameter
