I have gotten some nice compliments on this.
I used a blonde recipe:
Briess Golden Light Liquid Extract 8 lbs, 4.8 oz
Briess 2 Row Caramel 10 0 lbs, 8 oz
Williamette Pellets 1 oz @ 60 mins
SAFALE US-05 American Ale 1 ea
Cut up 4 lbs of strawberries, covered in vodka in fridge 24 hours.
Used a food processor, made a purée, added to secondary.
Had a good secondary ferment.
Left for 7 days, chilled to 34 for 4 days.
Had alot of strawberry "stuff" in bottom.
Beer is cloudy, has a nice reddish tint.
ABV before secondary was 5.6%.
Any ideas what the final is?
