I'm brewing a chinook / 2 row SMASH tomorrow. To add a little color I was thinking about toasting a pound of the malt in my oven. Questions
It's already milled, will that make a difference?
Total grain bill is 5 pounds, is 1 pound too much
I was thinking about 300 degrees for 30 minutes. About right?
Final question - should I just brew it without toasting the malt?
