Default I scored big at the beer distributor

Just went to the beer distributor for some back up as I killed my Anchor clone last night and my smutty nose is not ready yet... I asked the owner if he had any empty kegs around and he said sure no problem and brought one out.. he only charged me $10.. I don't know if it is legal but he said it was not a problem and to enjoy it...

Primary-- Crystal pal ale
Secondary -Sudel's IPA
Secondary - Empty
Keg-1 Empty
Keg-2 Empty
keg-3 empty
keg-4 empty
keg-5 empty
