Scored a # of Cascade hops @ a good deal so want to use some of them up in my next batch. I'm really not a big fan of IPA's. So was wondering if anyone can recommend some all grain, non- IPA recipies. Thnx.

You won't be using 16 oz. of hops in one beer unless it is an IPA of sorts.

I would suggest using them across 4 batches or so.

SNPA Clone
American Amber
Cream Ale
American Style Bitter

Shakespeare Stout!

You should be able to brew at least 20 gallons with a pound of Cascade...

^^^ I was thinking stout or porter as well. Really, any American style would be fine with these, but a big stout or porter will help you use a lot of them, if that's what you're after. Don't discount barley wines, either.

I received an American Wheat recipe from a friend and I brewed it last week. The original recipe called for Amarillo hops and WLP001 but I swapped those out with Cascade and US-05 since I had them on hand. The original recipe is based off the Gumball Head Wheat

Red Sloth Wheat 1.052/1.012 (6 gal.)
Grain Bill (70% Efficiency assumed)

6 lbs. Red Wheat Malt
5 lbs. - 2-Row Pale Malt
1 lb. - Caravienne Malt

Hop Schedule

1/4 oz. - Cascade - First Wort Hop
1/4 oz. - Cascade - 60 min.
1/2 oz. - Cascade - 15 min.
1.25 oz. - Cascade - 5 min.
1 oz. - Cascade - 1 min.
1.5 oz. - Cascade - Dry Hop

Yeast

Safale US-05

Mash/Sparge/Boil

Mash at 153 for 60 min.
Sparge as usual
Cool and ferment at 68 to 70
