I noticed that my main problem is when you change it the quantities under "brewing notes" stays the same. When going from the original 10 gallon to five it just stays the same. So I just divided the strike quantities of 18 qt and sparge of 25 qt in half because I'm doing a 5 gallon batch. My problem is on my measuring cup there is USA qt and IMP qt and they differ quite a bit!
Yes I'm 30 mins in and struggled to get the temp up above 150. One more undoubtfully dumb question. If you are making temp adjustments throughout the mash do you minus what you added to the tun off your sparge water? Sorry for the bother..
