This is the one DIY project every home brewer needs to tackle. It's not a stir plate, a copper IC or a paint can fermentation heater. It's MUCH more critical to brewing award-winning beer!

Of course, I made mine out of stainless, with tri-clover fittings and an arduino controller.

Copper could work, just be careful what you use to sanitize it. Oh, and big ups to the first person who rigs one that's propane powered!

Funny, I'm right in the middle of my control panel build and things are pretty cramped... but I think I could find room to add that, right between the "pump" and "heat" switches.
