Default Anyone watching...

Star Wars: the legacy revealed?

It's on the History Channel so you know it will be repeated quite frequently. It's basically drawing comparisons between ancient mythology and Star Wars.

meh...Lucas based it all on Joseph Campbell's "Hero's Journey" which is itself a study of ancient mythology and how stories are retold throughout generations. Just read Campbell's books.

I enjoy storytelling, writing and mythology, so I found them interesting. Campbell was much too spiritual a man for me, however, and he lost me sometimes with his mystical way of thinking.

I like the History Channel and they make some quality documentaries, just not sure this will shed any new light on the subject for me personally.

Just did a Google search. Here's an interesting site relating to this:

"Death is always with us." - Brewpastor
