I want to brew inside and electric sounds like the way to go. Is extract brew 10 gal batch possible? What do I need to get going to make this happen any help is appreciated

Get thee to High Gravity and buy the following:

This will set you back about $350, but it's all "plug and play", provided you have a dryer outlet.

This is what I use for 10 gal batches and it works great!

You CAN build yourself for less, but I like "plug and play" as well as snarky!

Ha great reply. How long does an extract brew take with electric? Does the element scorch the lme or do you use dme?

No scorching! It's ultra low density.
I do 10 gal all grain in about 4 hrs or less with a single BK heating my strike & sparge, and then boiling. A couple of buckets to sparge into, and a converted cooler mash-tun,

If I was doing just extract, I figure I'd be done in about half that.

I like the looks of this! I might have to look into the DIY version of the controller!
