When I am trying to tweak my recipe, I am having a problem figuring out how much dextrose to add during fermentation and when.
How do you calculate the FG and OG when you keep adding a set amount of sugar daily during fermentation. Each day while actively fermenting, the SG of the beer drops. But then you add more fermentables which increases the SG.
I want to attempt a 2.5 gallon batch. I dont think the grain bill for a 5 gallon will fit in my cooler mash tun.
I have tasted it once. It has a very cloying sweet taste nicely balanced by the high IBU's and if I remember correctly, it is mildly carbonated.
