So I'm an idiot. I waited till a week before to get my girlfriend a birthday gift and I have no idea what to get her. Normally I wouldn't ask a stranger what to get someone but this gift does not have to be very specific to her. If there was something that I knew she needed or wanted I probably wouldn't need to ask for advice.

Shes turning 24. She doesn't really have any hobbies other than working or hanging out with me. I just got her a camera for christmas. I have already bought her an extremely comfortable robe, slippers and blanket. She makes all her own jewelry (not frequently enough to warrant buying her more supplies because she already has plenty)....

I'm looking for any ideas. Have you recently purchased a gift for someone that got a great response? Just throw out some thoughts to me please.

What kind of camera did you get her? Just a thought maybe a tripod or nice camera bag (assuming an SLR)

Maybe she needs a kegging system or a fermentation chamber someone has to sugest it.

Good luck!

I got her one of the Cannon PowerShot cameras and purchased a case when I bought it. A small collapsible tripod could be nice but I don't see her getting a ton of use out of it. However, it is added to the list of small things I will get her if I can't think of anything good enough.

Whats her style? What kind of music does she like? Movies? Food?

You'll score major points if you pick something out that you think she likes based on something she once told you. "I got you this cool tea pot and tea sampler because you told me last month that you have been really enjoying tea." Boom, you proved that you do listen to her and that you remembered something she said and you genuinely tried to get something that she might like.

Just tell us more about here and we can give you suggestions.

Hmm so far dick in a box is top of the list, but here is some info on her...

She is into funk, and some underground hiphop like RJD2. She enjoys cooking, makes delicious meals and loves to host for people. (maybe something for the kitchen...?) Her love for craft beer is ever expanding. Likes going out for fine dining. We hike but I bought her a good pair of boots already. She just bought a car 3 months ago so maybe she needs something for that...

Thanks for all the responses so far and keep 'em coming, at the very least you guys are getting my brain going!

I do realize it is right beside valentines day (plus my dad's B-day the same weekend, all different days) but because all these are so close together she doesn't care much for valentines. I have already placed my order with Proflowers.com I know that is kinda weak sauce but they deliver to their work and then all her co workers do the "ohh awwwee" and I get some free points.

Broads love being pampered, something with how they're wired. Schedule a massage and a Mani/Pedi for her. I've done this a couple of times for my wife and she loves it. You'll definitly score brownie points, but the key is actually schedule and pay for it. A gift cert is nice, but it'll mean so much more to her if you figure out an open spot in her schedule and make the appointment. Trust me she won't be disappointed.
