Default Bottling and Carbonation

I use the standard 3/4 Dextrose, 1 cup boiled water for bottling. I usually let it cool down, put in my bottling bucket, then siphon over the beer.

I do find a bit of inconsistency, from bottle to bottle, in regards to how much carbonation I tend to get from my bottles.

Anyone have any tips or tricks for balancing out the bottle carbonation level?

1) Gently stir your beer + bottling sugar mix to be sure it is well mixed

2) Be certain your bottles area all well sanitized

Also pay close attention to your headspace in each bottle. Excessive headspace can lead to overcarb'd beers.

To follow up on what Got Trub? said, if you position the siphon tube just right in the bottling bucket you can get a nice whirlpool/swirl going when you siphon. Also, after siphoning I swirl it all together with the siphon tube.

Also, how long has it been it in bottles? It is possible that the under-carbed ones are just a little behind the others.
