I took my first stab at washing yeast ( a irish wyeast ale ) and am wondering- if I use these in any ale beers especially lighter ones how much influence will it have on the flavors? And how do you determine how much to use on a batch. Lets say I want to do abtches under say 1050; will one pint jar be enough with a starter? Should I use 2 in big gravity beers?
