Dude, don't use a propane burner indoors! All kinds of issues with carbon monoxide and other gasses and harmful fumes and carbon compounds! Only brew in a well ventilated area!

i looked around and there a people that brew with propane in basements and garages sometimes not ventilating them because its cold. I don't think the by products of combustion are what cause my eyes to burn because i don't feel it until i am boiling the wort. anyone else have the burning eyes from wort?

Pretty good chance! You are LITERALLY playing with fire my friend! Gotta keep it safe! Brewing is all about fun and enjoyment! Not killing yourself just to make beer!

That's because some people have low emission burners. What kind of burner are you using? If it's just a standard turkey fry burner, that is not safe!
