Got a recipe filled at my local home brew shop off their website ect but it doesn't tell me how much water to mash with or sparge with soooooooo how do I figure this out? Nit anywhere close to them and their phone is busy every time I call. It's a five gallon batch and the recipe is a shoultz Meyer double trouble.

how much grain do you have? its generally 1.25 quarts per pound of grain for mash water

Popular amount is 1.25 quarts of water per pound of grain.

That's the details and grain bill. And how long to ferment I've been looking at posts where people will leave in primary for a month then bottle. That gonna work... This is only my second batch. Hope this isn't a dumb question.

Well just received beersmith but it won't load for some reason on my comp so none. That's just off their webpage from the Bree shop

I guess 11.2 lbs of grain so 14 gallons for mash??
