There is a ball on the back of the faucet that extends into the shank, this looks to be how flow is controlled. You can move the control arm all the way up and it actually hits the shank effectively reducing flow to almost nothing.

I will post some pictures in a little, I'm waiting for my camera's battery to charge.

Here I attached some pictures. The first one is full flow, the second would be the lowest/closed flow and the third is attached to a 1.75" shank with the flow control valve closed.

The euro version Northern Brewer sells had some kind of issue where it can't be placed in certain configurations but I think this is a different example of the same kind of tap. More information is required, i.e. someone needs to kick down for one and review it thoroughly.

Thanks for the pictures! It does look like this may work with the shanks on a standard tap tower but like Irrenarzt said until someone throws down the cash to try it we can't be 100%. If it does work I'll be purchasing 1.

Thanks!

We've had a few purchased already so maybe someone can review it.

I am pretty sure these will work on a standard tap tower, the shanks have the sane design on the front end where the faucet connects.

Let see if the guys who purchased these review them.

theres another thread about these faucets here: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f35/new-...faucet-251615/

i have them installed, they seem to work pretty good. i have an overcarbed cream ale that i would get nothing but foam on with my normal faucets. you can turn these down to just a trickle, and get a normal head. it takes time to pour a pint this way though, maybe a minute. they drip much less than my cheap faucets, and no sticking so thats great. i plan to add some longer beer lines in the future, but for now, these are working great. the only downfall is having to wait for a slower pour, but these will be nice when going with a higher carbonation level for heffes, etc.

Does anyone happen to know if the spout on this thing is equivalent to any other Perlick faucets? Specifically, I was thinking of picking up one of those faucet bottling adapters (http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f41/bott...ottler-228344/) and was wondering if this flow-control model had the same dimensions as either the 525/575 or 425. This is my only Perlick so I have no basis of comparison.

They look to be the same diameter as the 525ss.
