I'm looking to make 5 gallons of apfelwein but i'd rather not drive 40 minutes to a home brew store. What have you all had success with? How much of it did you use?

I'll be using montrachet yeast. Everything else is open (using other juices, etc.). ..well almost everything. i hate the taste of splenda, so don't bother suggesting those recipes.

I'd use 2 lbs of light brown sugar instead of the corn sugar.

You can substitute plain old white table sugar for the corn sugar, tho you might want to let it age a little longer. Brown sugar works too.
