Do I have a box of bombs on my hands here? In the picture below, the center dimple on the cap has been pushed out and is raised as compared to the one in the lower right of the photo which is still depressed.

I have never noticed that dimple being raised before. Inside is a Pumpkin Ale I bottled about a month ago.

What kind of capper do you have? What does it sound like when you open one? I just posted about my bomb and noticed the other caps in the batch had a bit of a bow to them.

Not sure what kind of capper i have other then to say it is an old one. It sounds normal when i open one. They are over carbonated a bit. The last one i opened overflowed out if the bottle.
