Fla. Woman Attacks With Shovel Over Beer

NAPLES, Fla. -- A woman kicked a 72-year-old man in the groin and hit him with a shovel after he refused to give her money for beer, according to police.
An arrest report said the man was standing outside a Naples gas station on Monday when Valissa Lorraine Small approached him and asked him for money.
The man told police that when he refused, she kicked him. Police said Small then grabbed a shovel from the man's truck. He told police she tried to hit him in the head, but he blocked it with his left hand.
After the attack, the man drove himself to the hospital.
Officials said one of his fingers had been dislocated.
Police said they found Small on Tuesday and charged her with aggravated battery with great bodily harm or permanent disability and aggravated battery on a person 65 or older.
