Default Quick, can I use a vacuum cleaner motor for anything?

Trash man is picking up our old vacuum cleaner in the morning if not.

You could use it as a blower to burn biomass to heat your boil kettles or mash. By having forced air you can quite alot of heat out of things like wood chips and pine cones and other scraps.

You could use it to degass wine, cider, mead, etc...
