So I have a basic Apfelwein going that I was thinking splitting into a few smaller batches and experimenting with. I recently had a roasted almond cider (can't remember who made it) that was amazing and wanted to give it a try. Has anyone done this before, or used nuts in general. Thinking of trying this with a 1-gallon batch, but not sure the best way to go about it. Maybe roast, then crush and add to secondary? Also, no idea how much I should use. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
