About a week and a half ago, I moved my IPA from primary to secondary. Got a very small amount of airlock activity in the first day or so then nothing... and the vodka in the airlock seemed to even out in the 2 chambers.

Just went and looked at it this morning and I noticed that theres positive pressure in the airlock... all the vodka has moved to one side.

Whats goin on? Is this normal? I mean... a week and a half of nothing... then all of a sudden... something.

No temp change or anything... has been sitting at about 22-24C since racking.

Possible atmospheric pressure change?
Did you move the fermenter and rouse the yeast?
Just some possibilities.

Probably just some absorbed co2 getting released, I doubt fermentation has started up again. I just bottled my wit and it had the "positive pressure" in the airlock as well.

Got weather? Once the fermentation is done, small changes in temperature & air pressure will shift the levels in both directions.
