Ok I'm sure you guys see this all the time. I ordered my starter equipment kit through NorthernBrewer today!!!! I have been pouring over this site for well over a year! Got hooked up with a good buddy that has a couple of brews under his belt. Then finally convinced Momma (wife) that I needed to brew!!!!

I cannot wait for the kit to arrive. I also would like to thank you guys in advance because I am sure I will post any of the 9000 Noob questions you guys have seen already. But I thank you all for your words of wisdom of which I have followed and will continue to follow.

I cannot wait!!! I have poured over every homebrew supply website comparing every piece of equipment lol. I have enjoyed amazing home-brews from friends. Now it's my turn to make it happen. I cannot wait for my first brew day lol

I was just like you a little over a year ago. Now here I am with a pile of equipment that keeps growing, a kegorator and a room that I am converting into a little pub. Be careful man, this hobby can get out of control :D

Did you remember to order an Oxygen screen for your fermentor? You know that if you don't have one you run about 50-50 of oxidizing your beer into vinegar!

... Just messing with you. There's no such thing as an oxygen screen :p Welcome to the hobby!

You will get a lot of assistance from the experts on this site on brew day....I posted a bunch, quick answers...good luck...it's addicting!!

Haha I would love to!!! But my kit isn't here yet!!!

That's one of the many reasons to do your first brew with someone who's already done it, if there's someone in your area. (Don't sweat it too much if you can't find anyone. A lot of us started brewing first, and then made brewer friends.)

damn, I have 6kg of grain sitting two feet away from me and smelling awesome. I don't know if I can wait until the weekend to brew...

Order another ingredient kit right away! Then get another fermenter soon. You will very quickly wish to have more than one batch going at one time.

Right now I have 1 beer in secondary and 2 in primary. I plan to go my LBHS on Saturday, i need some dme for starters. I will be looking at Better Bottles or buckets! 2 all grain kits are due to arrive in a couple of days.

Enjoy the hobby....errr addiction.

It is very rewarding and this place is a great source of information. When I first started I spent so much time reading everything I could my wife called it my beer porn.

The hardest thing to learn is patience. Good beer takes time.

I would also suggest getting another fermenter or two so you can start to build a pipeline.
