So I came home for lunch today. I usually do, now that I work close to home.
After letting the dog out, I decided to check how my melomel is doing. It's been a while since I pitched the nutrient and I've done a good job of ignoring it.
.0994. Perfect. Beautiful color. Taste needs some time aging to get right, but it's not bad at all.
Then I heard someone at the door. Mr. Postman brought me my wine kit. It's got the yeast included (bourgovin) along with plenty of oak chips. I was hoping to buy some buckets durring tomorrow's lunch, but I just found out that Miles may have pink eye and may need to stay home. With me.
