I am making a HLT and MLT out of used commercia l sink I obtained from a restaurant that closed down. It has two sink compartments and a side board. The sinks hold about 14 gallons each so I should be good for 5 gallon batches. I am planning on making it an electric HERMS system. The sinks have 2 inch male threads on the drain. McMaster has a reducer to 1/2" but it cost close to $60/reducer. Anyone know if another fitting site that may have something cheaper or another idea for coming out of the bottom?

Can you post a link to the reducer so we can see exactly what you need?

The link does not go directly to the page. Hopefully this works.
You can put the model number in the search field and it will go right to it.

These look pretty good. About half price of the ones from McMaster.
