meh. imo oak doesn't go with beer. never really like it.

IMO oak goes well with darker beers or heavily hopped beers. My RyePA (amber end of the IPA scale) tasted great with oak.
I may not be an expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express........ 6 months ago.
