I just went out and got some more five gallon carboys this morning from craiglsist. I got two (was hoping one was 6.5 gal but wasnt), but didint reaaly need both of them. IT was a good deal so i went for it anyways (also got airlock, carboy cap, bottle capper bottles brush, bottle washer, hydrometer with glass test jar, lab thermometer, some idopher, b brite, hoses, carboy handle and a few more for $30).
Any suggestions of what to do with the extra five gallon carboy? i was thinking about mabye doing a high gravity 4 gallon recipe, or something along those lines. What would be my max on gallons i could ferment in there? i dont want to have it sit around being empty and all thats a sad sight.
