Default Hefe starting gravity

My starting gravity is approximately 1.034. Is this too low to start?

It'll be beer, but it will be small beer. I guess it depends on what you were aiming for.

Yeah. You won't get that. It'll be more like 3. What was your recipe? You could always add some malt extract to add some gravity points.

Ahh. Sounds like you just didn't get a good gravity reading. It happens quite frequently with extract as it is quite difficult to mix thoroughly. It will be fine as is.

DOH! Misread that one. Yeah you got low efficency. You add some DME to increase the gravity a bit
