Yeast: WLP 023   
Batch Size (Gallons): 10   
Original Gravity: 1.073   
Final Gravity: 1.02   
IBU: 43.2   
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60   
Color: 46.5   
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 @ 70   
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 30 @ 45   
Tasting Notes: Roasty, light body, good variation of flavors, could use a little more sweetness   

We love this beer! This is one of our wedding brews (one dark, one light)

It tasted bitter to begin with, then as it warmed in my mouth, it tasted like coffee and chocolate. It's dark as sin, but clear. Not very hoppy, but then it's not supposed to be (supposedly, American Stouts aren't supposed to be hoppy, according to BJCP. . . ) and it's not designed to be. It's mellow and smooth and we love it.

Desert Moon II will work on adding some head (this doesn't really have much) and getting a bit more body to it.
